Diamond Services Move to Larger Premises
What a great way to end the year! The Diamond Services team has moved to new premises alongside partner business Diamond Controls. The exciting move has been a few months in the making as part of the group’s growth strategy and plans for 2025.
The move to larger premises follows significant growth and expansion into new product areas over the past few years as well as having outgrown the group’s previous premises. The new head office can now be found on Bessemer Road in Norwich, just behind ASDA on Hall Road in the south of the city. The Lord Mayor of Norwich, Councillor Vivien Thomas, came to open the fantastic new facility on the 6th of December 2024.
The New Premises
Starting with a complete blank canvas, unit fit-out has been ongoing since late summer with the Diamond Services team completing all electrical works. This has included everything from wiring, data cabling, LED lighting, fire and security fit-out, heating, and air conditioning unit installation. Every room has pir sensor control lighting saving on energy and carbon footprint. The fit-out was project managed by the Diamond Controls team with Norwich-based building contractors, Saw Building and Landscaping completing building work with support from local companies including Swaffham-based Acorn Works, commercial interior specialists.
The purchase of the premises represents a significant investment for the business and helps to future-proof growth says Group Director, Iain Ames: “As the business has grown and we’ve expanded our team, so has the range of products on offer to our clients. We had outgrown our previous location so it was the perfect opportunity to turn these previously unoccupied units into a fantastic working space we are proud to call our own. This move has allowed the creation of new jobs at our Head Office in Norwich with further room to expand as the business grows. Our new facilities will enhance our capabilities as well as provide a welcoming and inspiring space for staff and visitors.”
The bright, modern premises span across two large units in a gated compound and are fitted out to include a full suite of offices, dedicated training, and break-out rooms.
Celebrating the group’s 20th anniversary last year, the move is another significant milestone for the business as we look to build on our success and continue to expand our services to clients across East Anglia.
