Martin Barmby
Company Director
Martin is responsible for the smooth running of Diamond Services and places a high emphasis on quality workmanship and customer care. You will often meet him on site project managing his team of electrical engineers and he is also the first point of contact for new enquiries and quotes. Martin gets great satisfaction from seeing projects through from start to finish and thrives on the fantastic responses we get from our customers. He is the go-to person for advice and support and excels at lighting design. He is always on the lookout for new technology that can add real-life benefits to our clients. Outside of work, Martin is keen on outdoor pursuits and enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.
Iain Ames
Company Director
Iain is a Director of the Diamond Controls Group and strives to offer clients the very best in customer service and product specification. His long-term focus is on the continuing development of a wide range of electrical services that remove the stress and headaches many businesses face. Day to day, he can be found managing the team of skilled engineers, project managers and support staff to fulfil liquid and gas leak detection system requirements and a wide range of specialist trace heating products. At home, Iain spends as much time as possible with his two children and wife and enjoys keeping fit and active.

Kate Rogowski
Office Administrator
Kate, our office support administrator, is responsible for organising appointments for surveys and our electrician’s work, liaising with client’s on the phone and by email. Highly organised, efficient, and friendly, she keeps you informed at all stages. Kate works closely alongside Martin to provide a seamless delivery of our electrical services from the first contact right through to completion.
Andrew Bardwell
Logistics
Coordinator
Andrew is essential to the smooth running of our operation so we can deliver our services on time and to budget. He is in control of all stock, purchase orders and materials and is highly organised and adept at handling complex requirements. He is on hand in the office so that when we reach your site, we’re raring to go!
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, reading and is an avid football fan.
Sophie Ames
HR Business Partner
A big part of our success comes from the continual focus on our team and their skills. Sophie is instrumental in supporting our business needs through HR and strategic long-term planning. Her role includes legislation and compliance, policies and procedures, and anticipating ongoing training requirements, all while ensuring the very best team ethics across the business. Her organisation and focus on a positive working environment mean our team’s reputation is growing to be the best in our field. Sophie has a penchant for handbags and shoes along with two children and, although spare time is limited, she’s hoping to start riding her horse again soon!
James Higham
Office Manager / Senior Administrator
Our Office Manager, James, oversees the administration side of the Diamond Controls Group. With high attention to detail and an efficient, customer focused manner, he helps ensure the team works seamlessly together on larger projects.
Outside of the office, James is a proficient musician, playing the cornet in a brass band and is a conductor for another local music ensemble. If he’s not practicing for their next performance, you’ll find James volunteering for the local Scout group.
Louise Hickin
Accounts Assistant
Louise supports the smooth running of our busy head office by ensuring all supplier and client invoices are logged and processed promptly. She is an integral cog in our administration team, working with our Finance Manager and Office Administrator.
Highly organised and with excellent attention to detail, you’ll find Louise in the office Monday-Wednesday each week.

Our office juniors, Alfie and Cyril are not let loose on your paperwork but are certainly a source of entertainment and support in the office! They are experts at making sure the team get their exercise during breaks and they love being made a fuss of and playing with the family.
